Questions?? need help with 8ight throttle linkage

i need some help with my throttle linkage....it seems to be pulling on a angle and does not look good. i had to turn thr ball on the carb to a 7 or 8 0'clock position to clear center diff and be level with throttle servo arm.. is there something else i can do or is there a diferent arm to use..i don't want to damage my carb..the motor is a werks 7port pro ..any advice is greatly appreciated as always
Thanks in advance!!!
Mike

The position you say you put it in sounds right. As long as the angle isn't extreme the carb isn't binding and the linkage doesn't rub on the servo then it should be ok.

Sounds like the normal setup. You can also twist the carb so it aligns better also. This is like that because the Losi design moves the engine forward on the 8ight.

When you have the air cleaner off always put a drop of oil on the carb slide inside. Alway's make sure at wot you are not pulling on the carb.
