how do you get it to feel like theres not water in the shocks with that many holes? what oil are you running??

i switch between a 5-hole and a 6 hole piston in the rear but i will admit that what i run is probably way different than what anyone else does. all blue groove, all the time.

gday there guys,im having a bit of a binding issue with my steering,i was curious if anyone else has this problem,i stripped it down for a clean the other day,and noticed my steering was grabbing, the ballends on my steering rods are hitting the servo saver on each side,im going to dremel some of the ends, but was just curious if this is normal, also im running 2mm bump steer.
cheers burty.

No it is surely not normal. I would say you may have used the wrong turnbuckles when building. You should Also check you pipe hanger. It may be pushed in too far to the collett and scraping your strearing rack

Hi matt..You said in a previous post that you drilled out 6 hole pistons to 8 hole.

What i am asking is what size holes did you make them?,and also what weight oil did you use and for what track conditions?

Sorry for all the questions, but i have also tried doing that with 8 hole 1.3mm,but it didnt feel too bad, although i think i was a little light in the oil(30w)

I would personally get the full kit=Probally cheaper that way in the long run.. and keep the 08 parts as spares if you dont have many-Not that you would need them

if you are going to get the upgrade piece by piece then you absolutely need to get the new bulkheads because they have a much tighter tolerances for the bearings on the center drive shaft gear and result in less bearing failures

If the chassis diffs and shocks are in good shape it's worth $200
