Well there is a new Xray chassis being released this spring. So the XB8 should be improving. Both are good buggies, I would say the biggest difference would be that the Jammin is easier to setup than the XB8, but the XB8 has more options. The XB8 also has better quality materials used throughout. If you can get parts for both easily and there is setup support locally it will be a tough choice. Wait and see what the new XB8 is like first though, and the updated Jammin is either already available or will be shortly as well. Personally I prefer the Xray, but the Jammin is not a bad car at all.

The Jammin came out with the X1X update version. Better diff gears and 16mm shocks IIRC along with some other updates. Their website also shows the X2 version coming out in the spring don't know what will be different there.

Once you buy an X-ray kit you'll never want to buy anything else. Their quality of materials and craftsmanship in construction methods are awesome. Also their engineering is very innovative and X-ray's (buggy, truggy, electric touring car, etc) always offer more adjustability than any other platform...

I'm a Mugenite myself. But to answer your question, go Jammin. Its proven. Yes Xray is supposed to come out with a better design, but how do you know if its realy gonna be better when Jammin is allready proven.

Its funny everyone is always saying about xray and their quality. But if you read the review on the xray truggy in this past months car action they had trouble with the shock pistons. I guess any company can have a bad batch though.
