Anyone know off hand what size receiver would fit in the 16th scale Chaos? Would a Spektrum SR3000 fit or would I have to put in a SR3500? I'm hoping to use the receiver I have sitting idle.

Just opened up the receiver box and the 27mhz receiver that comes with it is fullsize so it will be easy to put a regular Spektrum receiver in there it appears.

why do they make the receiver box so damn small. mine doesnt even fit the battery, so it has to sit beside the steering servo.. ducktaped down

Actually I just finished my receiver switch and that receiver box has room for very large receivers. The 27mhz one that was in it was a lot bigger than the standard Spektrum receiver. I was surprised at how easy of a switch out it was. 2 screws to remove the box from the chassis and 2 screws to take the box apart.
