Can you turn the flywheel or is it stuck. try moving it with your fingers. It sounds like it may be stuck at the top of the cylinder. When you are done running the motor make sure to turn the flywheel until it is easy to turn. It should be at bottom dead center. This will prolong the life of the motor because the cylinder sleeve won't get stretched. Hope this helps.

Remove the glow plug and put some after run oil in it. Replace the glow plug but don't tighten it down. Leave it about a half turn loose. Heat the engine up to about 170 degrees. Turn the truck on its side, careful the engine is hot, and try moving the flywheel counter-clockwise with a screwdriver. Put the screwdriver against the chassis and flywheel and push on it a little. If you engine is warm and glow plug is loose the engine should spin. If it doesn't, then you might have to check the internals of the engine to see if something broke. It does seem like the engine has a hell of pinch and the piston is stuck in the cylinder. If it isn't the engine, try checking the pull start again.

Yep, looks like your piston is stuck in the sleeve near the top.
