RCPro Illinois State Series Schedule

I just visited the RCPro website and saw the Illinois state series schedule is posted. I'm glad it's finally posted but I have a problem with it. There are only two rounds and a final while other states have at least three rounds and a final. Even with all the big races going on in the midwest there is room to have at least one more round, especially with the number of tracks located in Illinois. I know there is some "drama" between the directors and some of the tracks that have been host to state races in the past. IMO that is where the drama needs to be, in the past. Carlton started RCPro as a series for the racer and that is the way it should stay. We need more races so people can showcase their skills and to have the opportunity to attend a "larger race" without travelling across the midwest to the division series races. In addition, it will also assist with getting RC racing more exposure. More exposure means more racers, more racers makes for a stronger hobby. Now, the question arises......is it time for new Illinois state director(s) for the 2009 racing season? Personally, I believe the directors positions should be voted on. Directors should be thinking of the racer and not about conflicts. So let's hear your thoughts Illinois racers? More races? More fun?

Not a very good schedule IMO either...it really kinda sucks. I think I am going to run the IN state series instead this year. :(
