I used that same starter box to break in my V-spec. But I heated it up to about 170 with a heat gun first.lol

Step 1: Fully Charged Box
Step 2: Proper Alignment
Step 3: Prime engine by blowing through the exaust tubing to get fuel in engine
Step 4: Preheat with hair dryer or heat gun
Step 5: Let starter box wheel spin then press down on buggy
Step 6: if it still doesnt crank, unloosen glow plug 1 turn
Step 7: try starting again

Even with all the it will still get stuck at TDC from time to time and you have to pry it with a strong screwdriver.

What is the capacity of the battery you're using? A too small battery cannot discharge at a high enough rate to turn over a tight engine.

I got the engine started yesterday. I heated the engine up to 200 degrees and the starter box started it up with no problem. Wow this engine is awsome. Thanks for the help guys...
