Go Technology 5 or 7 port engine?
I know you guys hate these threads but I just need your opinion on which Go Tech engine to put in my losi 8ight buggy. I run on a pretty big track with one looonng straight and then a bunch of tight turns and jumps with short runways so i need the one with the most torque. I can handle sacrificing the top end... I am pretty sure it could be geared and piped properly to still have enough top end. Thank you for your time!

I say the 5port you won't be dissappointed.
#3
now to confuse you... i say the 7 port!
The 7 is silly fast but honestly you cant go wrong with either...

I agree with Rocket, go with the 5...

I will GO with the 5 port. I like the silver head better anyway... Thanks for the quick reply guys!

Oh I almost forgot to ask... Do these engines come with two glow plugs? I usually use 30% fuel, but if these run better on 20% I will make the switch. Do they need to be shimmed for 30%? What all comes in the box?

I do agree that the silver head looks better!!
If you go with a standard head one it does come with 2 glow plugs and it is shimmed for 30% out the box.
You also get an extra head shim, instructions/exploded parts guide and stickers...

I will be racing the new 3port race engine as well. So you should be able to see what all the engines are capable of.
