If you're spinning the spur gear with you hand then thats normal cause of the slipper clutch. If your engine is just revving and the car isnt moving then either your slipper clutch is'nt set properly or the pegs on the spur are worn out or there is something else inside the tranmission thats messed up. If I remember right the traxxas site says turn the nut on the slipper all the way in and then back it out 1/4 turn. Try that first.

yea turn that nut all the way in and the back it out a 1/2 cause a 1/4 it might start doing wheelies all over the place:lol:

but thats the problem the spur gear spins on the little circle thing in side it, so it wont spin the shaft.

and its a new spur gear and its a new every thing that touches the spur, besides the clutch bell

that little circle thing inside it should be a very tight fit

pinky2252s 01-21-2008 01:53 PM

it is but when the engine spins it, it just spins on the circle thing

Robert.Hull 01-21-2008 04:39 PM

then that nut isnt tight enough

pinky2252s 01-21-2008 04:43 PM

ill try it now and get back to ya... i might not be able to get it started and see if the engine messes it up, cause it might be late but i see if i can
