Default Just got my first race roller kit.

This is an exciding moment for me. I got the Kyosho ST-RR, and wow, I am impresed with it after putting it together. I got a OS V-Spec .21 turbo engine, Spectrum GSM Radio, JR servos: throttle has 198oz./torque & .07sec-60 degress-------steiring has almost 400oz/toque & .15sec-60 degress. I'm just waiting for my muffler so I can start break-in. The muffler is a Ofna Jammin JP-2 Polished Buggy Tuned Pipe. Thanks for the answering my questions.

Enjoy yourself!! Thats a good combo, though if you are new to nitro, I would throw in a cheap motor instead just to learn the tuning and driving. A good friend of mine stared with a C6BB (I told him its a great motor, but NOT to learn on...) and within 3 gallons its all but toast

yes, i agree with what rezen said, id start with say a GO 3 port sport and throw a turbo button on it and run it first, its only like $140 to do that and its a killer motor for the price from what ive heard! nothing like any other motor that cheap, it actually RUNS! lol!

then when you get some experience in it, you can put it in the box as a backup and run that c6!

That is a sweet set up. Hope you have a lot of fun with it. Which JR servos did you get?

I got the JR-DS 8717 for throtle and Z9100Z for steering. My buddy and I built the same trucks with the same engines and he has lots of experience with the OS engins and tuning and I will not be doing anthing with out him. He will show the tuning and I have rebuilt an engine with him before. I should be alright there.

Recommend maybe getting solid front and rear braces. The chassis flex can break the fuel tank and bend the rear center axle on big jumps.
