Thumbs up Spektrum DX3R

Title says it all.
Was wondering on some reveiws/opinion's on this new radio. Looks very cool and really light.

a lot of info here and here. Very light, easy to use, "dialed" is my opinion

DX3R is an great radio, very light and the menu is very easy to navigate through.

We have had one for some time as my son Derek got to do some testing with it.
Sorry I don't have any pictures of it but I know there are some on the Spektrum and Horizon sites. The greatest thing about the DX3R is that you have one button wheel that is used for menu navigation. You turn the wheel with your thumb to scroll and just push it to select what you want. Unlike other radios that have several buttons just to get through the menu. All your trim buttons are assignable to any function you want or you can turn off the ones you don't want to use so you don't bump them by mistake. Plus it is super fast.

I've seen the on-line pictures at those sites, but I'm sure it looks slightly different in person. How did your son become a tester? I'll post some pictures once mine arrives....
