Hyper .21 Turbo

Hyper .21 Turbo
Is the hyper .21 8 port a good engine? I want to use it at my local track this summer in a buggy and I'm just wondering if it would be a decent engine to race with. What would be a good pipe to pair with this engine and what kind of glow plug does it take (cold, medium, hot)? Will it keep up with engines made by RB and Novarossi?

This is one of those questions that will elicit nearly as many different recommendations as there are responses. That being said, if you have to stay with the .21 displacement, the Go engine mentioned earlier is a a pretty decent mill. If you could go a few more dollars, the Novarossi B21 is worth your consideration: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/9124
If a .21 displacement engine is not a requirement, I have been impressed with the Mach .427. It holds a tune well and is a real performer. It can be had new via auction for under the $150 mark. If your chosen chassis can't accommodate the spin start mechanism, Sportwerks makes a replacement back plate.

If you can wait a bit longer then new GO Race 3prt will be available for around 180 and this engine kicks major tail! (i am testing one)..
the econo 3prt is no slouch either, I run this right now and its fast and @ $115 its the best deal right now.
