It is the front toe setting moving just a little bit as the suspension goes thru it's travel.

Sit your car in front of you on a desk and work one of the front a-arms up and down while watching the tire. It will move left and right a little as you do it.

Mugens do this, it seems to be a trait that alot of pillow ball suspension cars have. the MBX5 seemed to handle fine reguardless of it's bumpsteer, but the new MBX5R seems to get a bit more squirrelly after landing jumps. That's with the box stock set up. I know of a few guys who have cured this with a new set up.

On the MBX5R you have to limit droop. If you run full shock travel, bump steer can get out of hand and trust me, the MBX5R has some serious suspension travel/droop. It was ran once with full droop and it looked like a frog going over jumps and woops.

Well, from all the replies it seemed that bump steer has negative effect only and should be something to avoid.

Thanks for all the kind response guys.
