I think Truggy is not as expensive as a Revo. You have to shell out the money for the Revo then you have to change half of the kit stuff to even think about putting it on the track. It is not even funny how much it would cost to compete with some of the guys from around here. They are the fastest Revo guys there are.
Buy a truggy that your LHS supports. This will be very important for your future happiness and comfort.
Me??? I would run any of the Losi, Mugen or Kyosho in that order.
Also find out who the local fast guys are that will help you. This may also help you better in your decision.
Hope this helps.

I will give a +1 to the Mugen and a +1 to the Cen Matrix line.
Mugen really has impressed me with the quality of parts on it. Just amazed and it performs very well. Takes a good beating and comes back for more.
The CEN Matrix works quite well, is dirt cheap even brand new if you look on ebay and is very durable. CEN also does an excellent job helping out the owners.
I should get a chance to see an OCM buggy here soon since Jason Halvorson lives in the same state as me and we race at the same track when we can, so I'll see how it looks and all.
