Default Prime 4.6 Savage

I was trying to start my engine for the break in and followed the directions in the manual. I filled up the fuel tank all the way, I put my finger to cover the exhaust tip and I pulled the starter cord to get fuel running from the tank to the carb but the fuel wasn't moving at all. Now it was cold outside when I was doing this, as in when I breathed out I could see puffs of smoke. Would the cold temperature be stopping the fuel from moving?

it wont happen in one pull you might have to yank on it for about 15 seconds

Yeah, I was pulling it multiple times alot more than once and no fuel was coming through the line, absolutely none as far as I could tell, maybe I should just try on a warmer day.

YOu can always prime the line by blowing in the return line from the pipe.

it has nothing to do with cold or hot day
maybe you didnt see it go through just plug the pipe for like 5 pulls and then try and start it

if that doesnt work you line is pinched or mabey not even connected some where

Another possibility is that the line is already full of gas and you don't see it going through.

I'll go out and try again. Thanks for your advice, I'll double check the lines.

I disconnected the lines to check for pinches and fuel in the fuel line and there was none. I attempted again many times to pull it and no fuel appears to be leaving the gas tank to go through the fuel line. When I tried to blow into the pressure pipe it felt like my air was being blocked and I couldn't blow through it. There don't appear to be any visible restrictions for the fuel and pressure tubes.
