Default Fast!

I've been running the engine in my buggy all of '07. Exact same response as those posts above me. Engine is easy to tune and keep tuned. Extremely smooth powerband with a seemingly never ending top end. Couple it with a Sirio 2013 or sirio 2057 pipe and you have a winning combination for sure!

You will never want to buy another brand of engine after you try Sirios' top line of engines (STi)!!!

you will be very happy with the engine.. its great.. get the 2013 pipe, i have yet to try the 2057.. but it sounds great.. definitly a head turner.. engine is easy to tune, i use the standard button, never tried running turbo.. give the engine a full gallon before you hold judgement also.. i did the heat cycle method on mine.. and mine ran pretty warm for a while.. and didnt seem to make alot of power.. but after the gallon mark.. it finally broke in.. and watch out.. its wicked fast.. holds a great tune.. just an hour here, or there.. depending on the track i am at.. and im in.. gets well over 8 minutes to a tank easy at race speed.. during practice.. i get plus 9

Thats great to know

Got mine for 100 ($200ish) with a 2013 pipe, its had 12 tanks of fuel through it so its not fully broken in yet but ill sort that ill run it rich on my next race day.

Got a question though,

Whats better to use the turbo plug or standard plug the engines coming with both so im unsure as to what to use

As its got some big events to participate in
Cheers

i personally use the standard button, instead of the turbo.. for ease of tuning.. i cant say anything negative about the turbo, as i have not ever tried it..

Just been given some more info on the motor,

He has used 30% for the break in

looks like ill have to buy werks 30% fuel to use it @ 24 a gallon its not great

Ive always understood its not adviseable to run an engine on a lower nitro percentage than what was first used is that correct

You can use whatever you want just make sure you richen up all needles and tune it again.
I've used up to 3 different fuels at a race day once and all i did was to tune for each one again.
Although for lower % nitro fuel you will have to remove one thin shim(0.1mm)

Get some 25% if it's cheapper and remove the above shim IF he had installed it at the first place.

I bought this engine and i think i made a good choice.

What about the break in, how many tanks i have to burn so i can start the tuning after it's done ?

That would be a good engine for the Team Losi 8ight ? Cause i'm building a new buggy.I won't run this baby, i'll keep it for races. On the side i got an inferno kyosho for practice.
