Unless your pumping out over 1.6 volts, I don't think so. A good charged igniter will make your glowplugs glow bright. Engine should start easily and quick like this.

Ok I will rule out the glow plug starter....

Question... Will these motors start in reverse? Mine didn't it is just a question..

yes they can....but keep in mind everything will be retarted...literally...with the crank spinning backwards the fuel isnt exactly being slug up like it normally would...so u could expect the motor to be real erratic and not run properly.

Thank you very much... I'm also guessing that the car would go in reverse as well?

i dont think the car would readily just go in reverse bc the clutch shoes shouldnt really engage?

oh it will for surely go in reverse.....ive seen it muliple times and by accident did it on my Crappy old OFNA LX back in the day....i drove it around for a minute before deciding it prolly wasnt the best thing to be doin to the motor....so i stopped and restarted normally.

hmm, thats pretty cool, lol! i guess those clutch shoes arent picky, centrifigal force is centrifigal force no matter which way, LOL!
