I watched the ROAR nats video and the head on his motor looked nothing like the PHATT heads?? But I have been wanting to get one for my Drake .21 for a while.
Does anyone know where to get piston/sleeve/rod for one of these motors, I can't find any information on the Trinity site or anywhere for that matter.
What pipe apart from the trinity pipes work well on them???

BOOST- I started running the Trinity Phatt Head after the ROAR Nationals and haven't run anything since. The Trinity head wasn't available for the Nationals. The Trinity head is a little lighter then what I was running at the Nationals. I run the Trinity short pipe and short header. The JP1 also works well.

I have a JP3 on there at the moment. But I don't exactly have the funds for a whole bunch of pipes to test.
What restrictor do you use??

Unhappy pre-production drake motor

Adam
I have a motor that i bought on e- bay that the guy said he got from you.
It only says .21 buggy below the carb on the case. It has a tcs carb and aps rear cap. It looks like a Drake but doesnt say so anywere. I had it pinched and i should have taken a little more time re-breaking it in, but i didnt and it knocked out the rod bushing and broke the piston. Any idea what parts fit if it was yours and where can i get them?

a picture would really help identify it.

BOOST...the only place i know of to get Jammin/picco/Trinity/LRP parts are through NitroHouse......but for what they want for them....your better off buying a new motor.

its a grp engine and make sure to put the piston at TDC when pulling the backplate or you will brake another piston. i know amain carries grp parts, pretty much everyone deals with horizon except tower! if the case, crank, and bearings seem ok then a new piston, sleeve, and rod are in order. you might need a new wrist pin and retaining clips as well. also, these engines only have one rod bushing, the top of the rod doesn't have a bushing in it, only the bottom. if the piston wasn't at TDC when you pulled the backplate then you might have broken the piston skirt.

If you have the Trinity Platinum A. Drake it's Picco based. It was based on the Picco Evo 2 design I got that straight from Chad. I found the products here http://www.nitrohouse.com/catalog/in...ath=34_129_204 I did not buy them from there cause they were outrageous. I found the P\S with button on eBay new for $50 and also bought a Crank for $30. The P\S will not have the cuts like the Draked version. However at those price you can get them Fully modded for less than they want for a P\S. Have not found the actual replacement parts for the Draked version. The Draked version sleeve just has some scavenger cuts. A fully modded version would be waaay wicked. Excellent engine serious power and top end. It actually made me buy another Picco engine didn't know those engines could get it done like that.
