Well the next time you go to the track to race and
there are two or three people with the same stickers
on there r/c's,you can brag on who stuck theres on
better. Painting up your own body is part of putting
together your r/c your way. I take pride biulding my
racers and I don't want the body covering it to look
like a stamped out RTR. I have found that people
talk more about how great your r/c looked flying
around the track than how it looks sitting on your
starter box.

I'm a fan of the stickers, just not on the bodies. The bodies don't look pro enough. There is too many sectioned off section of the bodies. I really dislike when the mags use the stickers for their feature cars. I realize it's easier to get the vehicles ready to go, but I guess I would like the stickers more if they blended better with the paint scheme. Not a fan of the radio stickers either, the $400 dollar radios look degraded to me.

I think they're great for the other rc stuff. Starter boxes, pit boxes, igniters, chargers, batteries, etc...

This is all my opinion though.

Have you ever seen 2 people with the EXACT same body? Probably not. And If you so much for "doing your r/c your way", well, some people like wraps. Thats their thing. Hey, some people like them, some people don't. But show a little respect.

I like painted bodies, but I also like the wing wraps, and decal sets form UpGrade. I think they look pretty slick!

Ok people, enough is enough. If you like stickers, fine.
I admit some of the sticker designs are great. But,
if I got just one person thinking about painting there
own r/c body. Then my banter has worked.

Ok well that doesn't make it quite so bad then. But I will tell you this I am not much of a fan of Upgrade but what I have seen of Fastlane Graphix is amazing. If I was ever to do stickers Fastlane would be my #1 choice.

Yea, The Fastlane looks like there more one-of designs.
Awile ago I had a neighbor come ask me if I would paint
a body for his sons r/c and I told him that I wouldn't,but
he could bring his son over and I would show them how.
I let them use my airbrushes and other stuff and walked
them through there first body. The day after Christmas
I found out that Santa (my neighbors wife) had brought
them airbrushes and a compressor. Now they are painting
bodys and hanging out together more than ever and leaving
me alone. Good things can come from painting your own r/c's.
Ha Ha peace at last.

That's good to hear. Getting newcomers involved the right way. Good job.

WOW! Thanks. that is a great thing to hear. At fastlane everything is custom, there are no premade designs, and everything is hand drawn.

Thanks Jason.

Chad is correct....

100% custom is the way to go.

I did a couple template based ones and the custom ones out sell them 10 to 1.
