I've been using a Venom glow igniter for about two weeks now and it works great. I wouldn't say it's the 'best' though. It's just as good as any other name brand rechargeable glow igniter as far as I'm concerned. I'd say the 'best' glow igniter is the one used with the power panel on the Ofna starter boxes if you're driving an 1/8 scale buggy or truggy.

Check out Team Magic's ignitors... they look cool and have a 4200 battery.
Other than that, all ignitors are pretty much the same in my book.

If your talking about the green one with an 1100 mha battery....I have one that the meter never worked from day one....the handle also came apart after a week. It works good and holds a charge for a long time, it just fell apart.
