Default very quick, easy suspension question

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=tab%3DBidding

are those any good? for 40$?

im replacing the ones on my 1/8 himoto, will those fit properly? nothing in particular i have to watch out for?

and the most important, do i need to buy shock boots for those shocks? those look totally different than my mugen mb5x and himoto suspension, shouldnt there be those little rubber things or what? thats why i have to replace my himoto ones, theyre leaking.

thanks

It all depends on what your putting it on. The new shocks on the SP2 and WC edition are larger. What car are you putting it on?

Those aren't even real Kyosho shocks. Well, mabye they actually are, but they are not the same shocks they use on the MP777, or any of the MP7.5s I have seen. Just from looking at them I would say stay far away. Why not see if your Mugen shocks will fit on your Himoto? Mugen shocks are very good. Or mabye you can just get better seals for your Himoto shocks? The best shocks you could get right now would be off Jammin 16mm, or the new Kyosho 16mm. Both of those are avaliable as kits, but aren't very cheap.

k thanks a lot guys, i didnt think those were very good.

i would repair my himoto shocks but they are complete garbage, springs suck, stock oil sucks, seals suck.

and the suspension on my mugen mbx5 is awesome, i think i might get a big bore kit for my mugen (is it worth it, are they really that much better?), and put the stock mugen mb5x suspension on my junk himoto car. hopefully everything fits nicely.
