I was watching the video again, and it looks like they are sliding around a lot for a clay track. What is the preferred tire(s) there, and I'm thinking its a tire eater. Looks like they had some grip at the start, but was fading towards the end...

Most everybody uses Panther Switch 2.0 clay compound. It does eat tires fairly quick, but if the track is wet enough, Crimefighters are a dream.

Switch 2.0 Clay is the only tire to run there. but almost every tire works... holeshots, taper pins, etc... but switches are always the best.

Nik, the switches i let you run were atleast 3 or 4 race days old.

The surface doesnt eat tires, its not abrasive...
