The only thing on this car that reminds me of a jammin is the tank. Other than that it, its really more like a Kyosho & mugen.

After having a crash course with this car for a local big race, this car is easy to work on and has great on & off power steering, and overall balance. I basically had the Nanda pro kit with all the goodies but the only thing it needed was BB shocks.

Your right, the Kyosho has more than proven itself, but thats a pain to work on also. I just have a frustration with E clips, I think we both agree on that It really does look like a nice buggy, unfortunately for me it comes down to what my LHS carries, and thats Serpent, Mugen, Kyosho, Losi and Associated. I know some LHS carries more off the wall stuff, and it is nice if they can sell it, but most stick with the "Tried and True" names in the USA. The buggy market is overflowing, but I do like that its causing innovation. Now if only more buggies will be less PHAT like the Losi

i see it as all buggy's basically can be national champions but after you get the right tires and setup its basically up to the driver, if all the drivers drove like drake it would be a toss up, so to me their isn't a best buggy some are better than others in different situations but if you cant drive you wont win no matter what car you got! just my 2 cents.

IMO it would have been better to continue the radical z8 thread then to start a new one for basicly the same car. All the info could have been kept in one.
FYI: radical/irc has a site with forums (that could use more members)

Default statement from Associated

It's not part of our thread but i think it's important to mention .As i said many times before in other statements Asian companies taking control of Popular American companies and doing everything on the cheap .This is no excuse for a company of such success in the past.

Remarks by Team Associated.

At Team Associated we strive to the maximum quality for our products. During the initial production we decided at Team Associated that although parts were OK we could raise the quality of these parts. During production the parts below are changed.
Part # Associated Part Description QTY Reason
BD5090 89025 arm (front upper L) 2 New material
BD5090-1 89025 arm (front upper R) 2 New material
BD5119 89025 arm (front lower R) 2 New material
BD5120 89025 arm (front lower L) 2 New material
BD5156 89012 steering rack (CF) 1 Better reliability
BC0887-F 89008 servo horn (throttle F) 2 Better ID marking
BC0887-A 89008 servo horn (throttle A) 2 Better ID marking
BC0887-H 89008 servo horn (throttle H) 2 Better ID marking
BC0897-J 89008 servo horn (throttle J) 2 Better ID marking
BD5113-L 89082 shock standoff 8 Better reliability
BD5116 89036 arm mount (B) 2 New material
BD5117 89038 arm mount (D-3) 2 New material
BD5029 89035 arm mount (A) 2 New material
BD5031 89037 arm mount (C) 2 New material
BD5049 89010 top plate (upper) 2 Better durability
BD5017 89017 swaybar mount 4 Better reliability

Replacement part bags are intended for customers who received a RC8 from the first shipments of Factory Team vehicles. The replacement bags are available free of charge through Associated worldwide agents to the customers that received a RC8FT out of the first shipment.

For most parts, the parts look identical to the ones being replaced.

what i have always said in the past high end companies who have forgotten what quality is then run like a headless chooks to fix problems that needed fixing from the start. Not fixing the problems from the beggining with materials basically tells me Greed and who cares about the consumer we can sell heaps of parts.
Do it right from the beginning or dont do it at all as the consumer is the loser at the end of the day which is not right .

Dude I cant see any reason to post that in here, this thread has nothing to do with comparing nanda and asc....? I would rather just read about the nrb3/z8, things like setups, assembly maintenence ect.
Do you know if Nanda is looking for a top driver? Somebody to drive it in the worlds next year? This is a must for any manufacture to get worldwide attention.

To answer the question of the Radical Z8. Yes it is the pro version. Thats what I drive. I do have some of the hop ups.It is an easy buggy to work on and seems to be very durable. I have had mine for a few months and I will continue to have it. I also don't have any problems getting parts either.

Dear Freinds

Im sorry if it seems that i have offended some rc8 drivers but that's not what its about .I was just trying to point out that there are Some Asian companies who buy out the competition like some of the top American companies who never had quality issues then the product lands into the hands of the new company and the quality landslides .Thats all i was trying to say and nothing more .

Quality sells full stop .You dont have quality you have nothing.
