I don't really like it because in a 15 minute main, the gas guys have to pit. The battery trucks would have to have mandatory pit stops.

Default both

I think running both will be a great idea I like that because even the pit stop will be needed by an electric car because their needs to be battery swaps...

i think that is fair considering the electrics run out of power over time, the electrics should pull into the pits and do a stop-go every 7-9mins or so to make it more fair,i think someone may of said this already anyway have fun

id like to see someone change batts. as quick as the other guy gets fuel

i think the electrics would have to get mandatory pit stops that would work the best

I dont really mind what the rules are, if I have to make a pit stop, thats perfectly fine with me, the way I drive its alot more scary when im on the track

Or in the long main we cant make on a charge, dont pit until I need to change the batt, and after the gas guys pit a few times, I think getting a fresh batt in would be do able pretty close..... Or maybe not, I havent ever tried it lol

I'm pretty confident I can do a LiPo battery swap in my E-MBX5R in about the same time as a nitro guy takes to pit 3 times. If I can go 20-25 minutes on a single battery, I think most nitro guys would pit 2-3 times.

I think as long as the Scale is appropriate, its fine.

I wouldn't mix 1/8th scale with 1/10th scale. I can see some pros and cons with it. I think for "club" racing, its probably fine IF the majority says so.

There are a few guys running the 1/10th scale Hot Bodies nitro buggies that have converted to brushless. They run in our 4wd Sportsman class. It scares me a bit, given the chassis weights, and I just worry about one of those landing on a normal 1/10th scale elec. buggy and the damage it might cause.

For 1/8th scale, i know there are quite a few Purists at my track, and it might get limited to 1/8th scale nitro and 1/8th scale brushless.

Bottom line, if there isn't enough of ONE type to make a complete class, why not combine?
