Jason, I used HPI rims when I had my MBX5T, the Pro-line rims are a rip off in my opinion, you can get 4 Panther rims for around the same price as 2 Pro-Line's. I use Panther rims no problems most of the time but they have bad batches. I also have a few sets mounted on Kyosho rims, but only because they were free. But they hold up good too.

I will never run panther wheels again. I had two wheels strip out after one run. I run anything but panther, such as AE, losi, or proline.

I've never stripped the hexes on the Panther rims, but my father did one time. Not sure how it happened though... but since that happened I haven't used Panther rims again.

Guys, what kind of buggys have you been having these issues with?? I've been running Panther wheels exclusively for about three years now and have never had a single wheel strip or break. I've run them on everything from Jammin to Losi and now Kyosho.

I was running them on a Mugen Prospec buggy when I had problems. But now I run an RC8 but I won't use Panthers again unless they are free

Ha I was about to say something about that, unfortunately Panther does not have theirs out yet, but I believe they're working on them. I really don't see why they wouldn't.

FWIW, I've stripped Prolines on my 5T. Downside it I had Gators on them or I could've sent them back to Proline for new ones.

Stick them in the oven for 15 minutes at 350 and they should pop right off..........Some tires take loner baking times.

Kids do not attempt without parental supervision....had to say that don`t want some kid getting his hand burnt and blaming it on me.....

Honestly I don`t think it should matter what tire you have one them..You bought there product and it was faulty..Its not because of the tire you haad this problem

I used the acetone trick to dismount my crimefighters off of the rims. Worked great and the tires were remounted on some Proline wheels.
