RB engines thread

hi all, I couldn't find an RB thread so I thought I'd start one. If there is already one around please link me :D

anyway, I've just broken in my S7 & I'm looking forward to tuning it properly at the track tomorrow. A quick question though, do people using this engine use the venturi? The engine came without one, but the guy I bought it NIP off included the 7mm venturi, should I use it?

it just improves the airflow right?

all it does is restrict the air so you can in turn use less fuel. you will lose power with a restrictor but in most cases you have to much power anyway

Run it with the restrictor. Learn the motor . Later when you are racing, go to a 9mm venturi. The S7 will scream!

btw.
Oh yea, your DNA in white looks pretty good!

you will get better run times...a lil less bottom end, but the same top...

Actually, a smaller venturi gives a little bit better bottom, and less top, overall less power.
