Race follow up from Mark Marrow of houston
We had our final race of the HARC season December 29 in Houston at
Mike’s Hobby Shop. I was really looking forward to the competition
expected to attend, and it did not disappoint. We had several guys
cross state lines from Louisiana to run including Reggie Tongue.
Other obvious contenders included Xray drivers, Jason Branham and
Tanner Hagler. I was very excited about the opportunity to race the
OCM Truggy for the third time against such strong competition since it
had performed well at Mike’s in the past.
We ran three qualifiers and a fifteen minute A main. Round 1
went well with Jason as TQ with me two seconds off of his pace. The
second round qualifier went similar to the first. In round three,
Reggie picked up his pace, and TQ’d. When the main began, Reggie was
in the top spot with Jason in second and me in third. After lap 1, I
was able to come to the front, and was able to pull away from the
fight between Reggie and Jason for second. After several more laps, I
made a mistake and both Reggie and Jason went around me. At the
halfway point, Reggie and Jason continued to battle for the lead.
Pits cycled thru and it left Reggie in front with Jason next and me in
third. Shortly after the pits, Jason broke which left Reggie in
first, and me in second. With about three minutes to go, Reggie and I
had established a comfortable pace around the track, and had pulled
away from the rest of the field. Shortly after the three minute mark,
Reggie flamed out, and I was able to take the win.
I have been extremely impressed with the OCM Truggy. In the
three races, I have had a second and two firsts. It has excellent
durability, and it handles better than any Truggy that I have driven.
The OCM Truggy has attracted a lot of attention here in Houston. I
look forward to continuing the success of this year in 2008. "

Hey guys, got with the webmaster and the new site should be live this month. We will have setups listed, product information, news, etc.
The site will be www.teamocmracing.com
Instead of digging through post to find a setup you will be able to get it from the site and print it off!
We will also be attending the CRCRC Midwest champs starting on the 14th and will return the following monday. So we will be out of the office during this time. However I will be posting updates, checking emails and processing orders.
Thanks!
