A wing decal sheet should make it into the new kit boxes soon with these nice designs...They will all be on one sheet...I cut them up so I didn't have to scale them down too much to post them on the forum...

The pre-release publicity is also generating interest in my area. I've had a couple people ask me about it already.

I tell them, just hang on till the 15th!

everythimg for 08 looks sweet, the ARR is a great idea, alot of people where im located are switching to the RC8 because they are pre built and ready to go, this will attract alot of people to OCM.

I love kits but i love that i could get my buggy/ truggy on friday night and make a local race the next day, and not pull an all nighter!

Alan, we look forward to seeing you here in Houston, I will find out if the track will be open all day Friday, i will use up one of my vacation days I have left so we can get tuned in on Friday for Sat racing....ill be in touch.....
My OCM truggy ran awsome other than the first Qualifier that my engine wouldnt fire up.....I had about 4 complete minutes of practice before the races started. qual rd 1 was a no go. I was able to get it fired up for the 2nd rd of quals thanks to Jim Miller and was able to pull off a win in my qual which got me the 3rd spot in the Main......Main didn't go so well but all I can say is that the truggy handled AWSOME and i know that the 08 season is gonna be great!!!! I was very impressed with the truggies handling and turning ability which makes driving the truggy much easier.

alan

the buggy looked good, the track looked slick and the buggy was under you alot better than the compition, CRCRC has a bit more bite, than the track in the video, the buggy however looks like it would be set up well for january.

Guys, I just found this on Trinity and thought I would pass it on. It was made by RoyJ.........

Nice vid Alan. Was the one blue and white truggy an OCM?

I ran my RTR this past weekend with enormous delight. The standard offset wheels made the truck look too narrow, like a buggy, so I ran the Proline 1/2" offsets instead, glued to Panther Gators, in 35F degree weather.

To those who get this truggy as a ready-to-race (RTR) roller, I'm sure you will agree with me when I say that the factory assembly job is probably the best I've ever seen for fit, finish and proper torque on most screws. Check your drivetrain set-screws, since some may not have much threadlock on them. Only 2 of mine were not threadlocked enough, so I used Red Locktite on them.

I've driven the Mugen, the Kyosho, and the Losi trucks for comparison, and none of them were as stable as this truck. Once I slightly reduced the rear droop, it jumped like a buggy on roids. I tried to take it easy, but this truck begged to deliver all the power of my Rossi to the ground with ease. I even cased a couple of 20 foot jumps until I found my droop balance. The truck took the pounding in the cold weather without breaking or deforming anything on the chassis.

OCM has come a very long way in a short period of time. Until they do some national advertising, this truck just may be the best kept secret in the class. It's unreal!
