Shaun, you were looking good in your new Kyosho ride! We will meet up for a truggy-show down before too long.

With so many good buggy races in the area, it took me a few weeks to find time to go through the OCM truggy like I wanted. I stripped everything down and re-assembled, shimmed the diffs, and finally got it out on the track on Saturday to get it dirty. It is going to be a very nice ride. I got lots of compliments on how sharp it looks on/off the track.

well guys, We just made it back from the RC PRO SERIES EAST round # 2 in Sumter South Carolina. I'll say this up front...two things happened at very crucial times. Battery died, and airfilter came off ruining my wonderful OCM REDLINE .21. lol.

I started 4th in truggy and 4th in buggy for the event. When the horn sounded for the truggy start I was able to quickly put 20 seconds on some of the regions hottest truggy racers. My truck felt really good. Round #1 tq and winner Brandon Cutchins dropped out early and left Gene Hickerson pushing hard for a late race battle. At the 30 minute mark I ran out of fuel but managed to come out only 10-15 seconds behind gene in 2nd. I felt like with a couple mistakes I would have had the opportunity to battle for the top spot but with only 4 minutes to go my rx battery let go

All in all the truck was solid and very fast.

In buggy it was in a way the same thing except I was chasing Gene for 25 minutes of the 45 minute main event. Suddenly the engine stopped and we noticed the filter had came off The track was very rough and fast but I was happy the buggy did well and was a contender for the win. I now have to break in another engine, and start the process all over again

Till the next time!

Also...we had a redline powered xray take the tq and win in the intermediate buggy class. It looked great all weekend long.

Is there anywhere that posts the results of that race online? I am curious to see where some other guys finished.

Hi Alan,

During the early days of the DT-19, EVO was used in accordance to the revised shock towers, 3.5mm CVDs, longer shock travel etc etc.

For the truggy however, there was no early version to begin with right? Basically there was no "EVO-lution". Perhaps usage of the word "EVO" is gramatically inappropriate??

DT-19T is fine (but oh so predictable). "Super" sounds plain awful

Just my thoughts during a 5 min break

I have thought a long time about how to bring this into the open. I
have also given it my best to keep it from getting to this point but
no matter how positive I try to keep things it feels as if I am losing
ground. I have also put a lot of thought into wether I should just
make kit seem as if I am just going to a larger venture or tell the
truth on the matter. I think I owe it to my customers and my team that
I have worked closely with in the USA to give the truth. Someone may
try to pop up and say different but those who have worked closely with
us will know the truth in all this. I have truly given 110% for OCM
and tried my best to make this all I could.

At this point I can no longer be a part of OCM in any fashion. I feel
like the are not keeping in a positive direction. It seems to many
mistakes have been made over and over and I am always told it will be
fixed but it never is. The end result has been us losing our biggest
support in some of the largest shops in the USA. Once that happened it
all seemed more clear and I realized it was time for me to make sure I
had a way to provide for my wife and kids. I have talked with OCM to
give great ideas, told of formulas I felt would fix problems, and even
offered for them to stay with me and learn this USA business. I have
been negotiating with them for days now to at the least try to get
them to finish up my salary for the month and handle any loose
business ends with customers or team guys in the USA. It seems they
want me to send the product I have back to them and "then" they will
handle everything. Guys, right or wrong I feel like if I do this I
have no way to make right with the guys who may be waiting on product,
my salary, or any loose end that may arise. OCM has a lot of
unfinished business in the USA and being a honest person I can't leave
people hanging who I know work hard for the money they spend. I
offered to do a complete inventory of the nearly $50k in product I
have left, pack, ship and provide proof that the product is sitting
with a shipper waiting to be shipped to the OCM factory if they will
simply pay half of my monthly salary and send me $2250, and finish up
a few loose ends. For some reason they insist that I send it first and
of course then it will all be handled. My gut tells me to go against
that as it seems a little much. It seems wierd that they are not
willing to handle less than $5k usd in turn for $50k in product and
insist I send first. OCM offered to pay me once product arrived and
then said I should provide email addresses for the customers who are
owed product. I still feel most importantly that this will not be
handled. I feel sure once I do this OCM will then vanish.

Guys, I hope OCM will follow through and handle all this the correct
way. After talking to legit sources in Taiwan, the USA, and even
talking with OCM I truly feel like OCM has not and will not do honest
business. Most of this I have learned very recently and came to a big
suprise to me. As I talk with other parts of the world I notice they
have had the same problems as well. If they do not make good I will do
as I see fit with the product I have to make right with customers,
drivers, etc in the USA.

So if you are owed product or anything please make sure to email me @
teamocmracingusa@gmail.com. Pleas understand I have only and always
simply been a employee for OCM ltd. I have limited control but will
make sure to do my personall best to handle your situation.

I also am personally very thankfull to work with most of all the guys
who have helped build this up. I am also very sorry as I feel like I
lead you into something destine for failure. I think we had a great
and growing product but in a competitive business like this in the USA
it has to be a legit, proffesional, business that is willing to make
proper investments that in the end will result in profits. I now truly
feel as if many of the smaller companies operate in the same fashion
and they to will most likely suffer the same fate.

One thing is this...all the large companies as in Mugen, Losi, Kyosho,
AE, XRAY, and even HB are large companies, have business minded people
behind the wheel, run legit business, advertise, promote, field large
teams, and strive to produce the perfect product in the USA and all
over the world. This I know as a fact. I have had the pleasure to race
for and meet many of these people. It all started because I felt like
I possesed enough qualities to make a difference with a "small"
company.

Guys, I wish you all the best. Thanks for supporting me, working with
me and for all the help provided. Please do not hesitate to send me a
email if we need to get something worked out, again...I will do my
best. Again I am sorry, but with my father becoming ill and my
grandmother I just refuse to play games any longer. I can just pray
something larger comes of this and spend time with my family and have
fun

Thanks!

Because you had a problem with your so called distributorship does not mean that all small companies are the same .
Yes some small companies are dodgy but not all .
