Second Batch of Redlines about two-three days out guys! If you are
still interested send me a email asap as I am limited to about 35
extra engines once I fill a couple orders.

Most of us are approaching 3-5 gallons with perfect running engines
except for Chubbz...his ate a little mud I sent mine to have checked
over and was told it was in perfect order after 4 gals.

The stock .21 5 port is $195 plus shipping. The pipes are $40. THe combo in STOCK form(I RUN IT STOCK) has proven very good. I Recently got 9:51 on a race tune @ 235 degrees. Understand this is a perfect tune, day, conditions but 8 minutes should be very easy for most with the combo.

I recently sent mine in for a quick inspect and after 4 gallons it checked out 100% perfect

Tuned Versions are $260 and come with ceramics, epoxy filled crank, lightweight rod, and have sleeve work....

I got to run against an OCM truggy today and got a chance to look at it up close, and I gotta say, it looks real good! It handled the track great (kit settings seem a bit soft), and it is loaded with nice features...good job OCM!

The truggy is a nice set but still needs improvements.

Yes it needs some minor improvements, nothing major, OCMAmerica is holding them till they get some issue fixed with the ring/pinion gear.
I blew a ring and pinion yesterday, had it shimmed correctly, but a bearing let loose, letting the pinion move and stripped both ring and pinion.
This is the best handling truggy I have driven, once they get the ring/pinion fixed and release it, people will see what a great vehicle it is.
The ones you see now are prototypes, early production run that was sent for testing. You have to respect OCMAmerica for all the testing they have done, to ensure when they do release the truggy it will be spot on.
I understand less than a dozen were initially sent, I bought mine from a team driver who went back to a previous brand truggy, according to Alan Burton they have truggy's here in a warehouse, they are waiting for updated ring/pinions to swap out before they release them.

Just to clarify a little....

The ring/pinion material is not the problem.....the height of the teeth on the ring may not be tall enough....and the tolerances inside the bulkheads are a little large. Everything has to shimmed and broken in perfectly to avoid loosing the proper gear mesh. We feel that it would have been disastrous to allow the trucks to get into the hands of the general public with these known issues. When we get the updated parts we will test.....when we feel that everything is good enough to "drop in and drive".....we wil release them to the stores. We are not willing to let a product out that we know has a problem.

Thanks

SK

a local ocm guy has his out at the track (first time he had it out) on saturday.

It may need a few things, but the money, and for the features it has stock, and how it looked on the track, it seems to be well worth it imo. I think they will have a winner on their hands (and no, I do not drive them...I am a K guy now!), but like I said, the OCM truggy seems to be a GREAT value
