And is this new version available for delivery right now, or is it in the same shipment as the truggies?
Hmmm...good question.

I'm not sure what Amain has....I have to let Alan keep up with some stuff.

I would suggest calling them to see what they have...I believe the Team kit is supposed to have alum. rear uprights, lightened pillow balls, lightened hardcoated chassis(i think), and maybe even the alum center diff mount.

Let me know what you find out.

Sounds interesting and thanks Justin.

Adam, can you drop me an email on availability. At AMain they don't seem to be in stock.

The current Evo Buggy is the current top of the range buggy and will be for a little while yet.

We at OCM do get excited when we hear of new products being tested and things that are on the horizon. From this excitement and wanting to show our loyal supporters that "we're not sitting on our hands" we let our friends and supporters know.

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing, but it unfortunately leads to the voices saying "when are we getting it and I'm sick of waiting etc etc.."

I think in the future we'll release information when we get the finished article in our hands.

Please guys be patient as OCM's vision is and always has been to make the finest products for all customers.

The "Team Kit" or in Australia, like I'm calling it the "Pro-Drive" Kit is a fair way away yet.

The current EVO with Aluminium option rear uprights is way better than any other car I've driven. It makes ME look good... The Evo is by far not a compromise, it's one of the best out there.

So cut the guys a little bit of slack and let them and OCM as a factory do there job and that is to provide the very best for you, the end customer/user.

Hey guys we made it back from Vegas in one piece! I wanted to let you
guys know this week I will be busy getting some paperwork together for
our possible "new" USA distributor. Those of you who have stayed in
contact with me know that OCM has grown in the USA in every avenue.
With that came the challenge of two people trying to keep up with the
workload, one of those being myself. It's to the point that I can no
longer handle it and do it correctly. When OCM was much smaller it was
easy for me to ship a few orders here and there, race, test, PR work,
etc. Not a chance at this point. But this plan if put in place will
spread the work load throughout a staff of dedicated workers. I of
course will still handle all team affairs, test, race, and promoting.
So that lets me to one basic job at 100%, and will let the others do
there selected job at 100%.

Please be patient while I get this in the works guys! I want things to
be easy for us all

Thanks!

Herb, sorry I was out last week attending a race event. I also 100% understand your concerns. I tell you guys what I am told by the Factory, I am truly sorry for the delay but I think the end product will be a good one. We are no different than any other company. If you look back every newly released kit had a initial release date that was pushed back several times. I watched this happen with Losi, AE, mugen, and Jammin. The reason for this is sometimes simple things and in some cases it is required because a certain concern arises that we fill need to be addressed. So please hang in there with us and the fun will soon arrive!

Thanks!

Hi Alan-- Know that you are quite busy and your hands are bound and depending on the factory. I sent you already note last week to check in with me. If it will take you more then 2-3 weeks to get the truggy in let's discuss sending me a buggy first, and after arrival will also order the truggy from you. Please touch base today or tomorrow by email and phone and bring the baby home (preferably before the weekend, sold all my Xray cars already 2 weeks ago, and want to race in the weekend). Talkin' about loyalty huh!?

Just reply on my email tonight so we can discuss the buggy deal... and avoid long threads in this forum on this topic.

ok guys...talked to the factory last night and everything is ready
now! We apologize for the delays but we really wanted to make sure the
product was ready and improve a few things as well.

Amain Hobbies will be restocked up soon as they should have one of the
orders by the end of the week.

We will also be catching up on any back orders and some left over team
orders.

Thanks for your patience!

Thanks!

Well, after watching this thread grow, and watching all of the videos, and viewing the pictures..... I have gotten excited about this truggy....

My only concern is going to going to be parts backing in my area. I am located in Lake Mary, FL which is essentially 10 minutes from Orlando...

Superior Hobbies in Cassleberry, FL is my home store for parts, fuel, etc. etc....

Is there a retailer for OCM in my area, or would you be interested in having Superior carry OCM stuff....

Me and my best friend just sold all of our jammin' stuff and are right now ride less, well until the OCM Kaos Truggy gets to the states, and I will be picking up a buggy also..

Thanks for putting together great equipment, and a great Customer Service staff... I was a CSM For about 5 years, and I know how much it can make or break a company just trying to get on it's feet.

Default ocm redline .21 engine report....

I to have finished break in getting ready for this weekends regional
race in Florida. I took it out of the box, inspected the internals
(everything was clean and ready), installed it and started the break
in. I chose the heat cycle method which has you running from the
start in 3-4 min cycles. Or once it is up to temp you cut off and let
cool to outside temps. I did this for a tank(4 cycles). I'll also add
the carb was very close for break in from the factory. I then went to
running it a tank at a time letting fuel run through the engine. I did
this 5-6 tanks letting it cool down in between tanks. Each time I
increased the trigger a bit more, at all times being very easy and not
blurping the throttle. So after that I have it at about 75% and I'll
do the rest on the track. Of course do it how you feel comfy and take
your time!

Report so far....

motor has a great sound, feels strong with a smooth range of power. It
looks like it will have plenty of top yet maintaining a good smooth
bottom and mid range. It was easy to run in as and I say use a heat
gun to get the engine over 200 for starts. I sued a OS p3 turbo plug
and tilted 30% nitro. Brad will also be running his this weekend and
we will keep a close eye on runtimes, temps, power, and lifespan and
report back along the way.

Thanks!
