i dont know anything about airtronics servos but the only thing i would change is the jp-1 to a jp-3 with that os engine. and i would never mount 40 series on a truggy use the ones the 8t kit comes with or proline mtr or better yet the new lpr'[s

Yes JP-3 pipe and no 40 series wheels, you want MTR's 40 series are meant for Monster trucks not truggys

That sounds like an amazing get up other then your servos. For the same price I would reccommend the Hitec 5595. 333oz at .12.

Also another thing is I would get a different starter box for 2 reasons. One, I have heard that that box isnt really all that great, and 2 is that if you get a universal box you can use it on another ride if you happen to change at some point.

Just a thought.

I would go with a OS speed 2050 or 2060 pipe.Either one will give you more runtime than the jp`s and the 2050 will give you the mosta and make the motoe easier to tune.Servos I would go with the new futaba BLs,there digital and brushless which would last for a long time..........run the wheels that come with the kit.....

Is this going to be your first .21 based car?
I would perhaps stay away from the v-spec as a your first motor. It is an amazing motor & it will last a long time if it is treated properly, but if its not treated properly & tuned properly it will go sour in a hurry. It is not an easy motor to tune either, you really need to know what your doing. Might I suggest giving a nova n21bf or a werks 3port a try if this is going to be your
1st .21 based car? Those two motors are much easier to tune & they can with stand some abuse. It would suck to invest $300 into a new motor and have it go bad after a gallon because you didn't know how to keep it running properly. You can use the cheaper more durable motors as practice motors to get started. When these motors are tuned right they are still both wicked fast motors.

yep, I'd say if your asking if this stuff is good, more than likely your new at this.

Everything is good except for the engine. You REALLY dont need that much engine, a simple 3 port econo engine will do.

The Losi starter box doesn't have the best reputation either.

Skip the fuel line and fuel filters and get aluminum diff inserts for the truggy.

Those Airtronics servos are very good. Do a search on Hitec stuff and you'll see that they aren't the most reliable servos.
