Default xray big bore shocks

can anyone tell me the deal on these things? ive heard several people say they really like them but do u really have to use losi springs? i don't believe losi makes a harder spring than there white one and thats still to soft for my track...any ideas or info is appreciated

Are you talking about the shocks that come on the EC? Because they work fine with the stock springs and then I think RMV has some progressive springs that work with them too.

No one that I have heard of is using anything else than the stock shocks and the stock size springs which are great to begin with. The bigbores that some of us Factory drivers are testing are the only new ones. Those are still in testing mode.

Stock Xray springs will work with the EC's big bore shocks ( only 1mm bigger over standard xb8 shocks).

whats the difference between big bore shocks and normal ones?

do the big bore just have more travel?

whats the travel for a mugen mbx5 stock suspension?

whats the travel for a big bore kit for a mugen mbx5?

no jason brenem is a local at my track and he has them but like he said above hes a xray factory driver. but there on team helots site there called ec "wide" shocks...the only difference is they can carry more oil so they last longer and are smoother.
