Default QUICK LOSI XXX-NT Q????

I have a losi xxx-nt, I just recieved a motor in the mail, is some SH .12, from what i know, the xxx-nt uses a threaded crankshaft, the motor i just got is a regular crankshaft??? And is a tad shorter that the crankshaft of the stock Mach .15 that came with the xxx-nt............

Will this work or no? Any tips or thoughts please let me know! thanks

you mean you bought an sg style crank instead of a threaded crank ? i would return it for a threaded one myself , unless of course you bought it used in which case you should have asked questions before you bought it .
sorry , monty

rsxskyd:

That should work fine on your XXXNT. Just install it as you normally would. You might have to center it with washers on the crank so that the clutch bell runs free and meshes in the center of your spur gear.

so is there really a difference between threaded cranks vs Regular cranks, to me the regular looks like a threaded, its just a tad tad shorter than the stock mach .15 it came with so i just wanna make sure......

rsxskyd:

The hobby shop just stated regular instead of threaded crank on their web site. A regular crank is a threaded crank. It will work so don't worry!

rsxskyd:

Whoever you bought it from then! They called it regular instead of threaded.

http://hobbypeople.net/gallery/147003.asp This is an SG crank engine.

http://hobbypeople.net/gallery/147001.asp This is a regular/threaded engine.

I'm not sure what you're asking, but the regular/threaded engine will work fine in your truck.

Has been corrected now. Thanx

Oops. OK I fixed it. Well at least you know the diff now. Just make sure to get your mesh and CB spacing set and you should be good.
