Default To tight of a pinch?

Hello all,
i have a OS 18 tm with a pull start. when i go to start it the pinch is so tight i cant even pull the string. when i put after run oil in it, it works for about 1 pull then it locks again. no its not flooded. why does it do this?

If its a new engine, heat the engine up with a hair dryer or heat gun. At 160F and up, it should be easier. If you pinched the engine, you may have pinched it too much.

If you tried to resize it or had it resized the sleeve itself may be out of shape i.e. "egg shapped".

This will cause the piston to stick at TDC for sure.

If you resized it or had it resized, how was it done (hyd. press or "crimp tool")

just heat up the block to as close to 200F as you can, and loosen the glow plug just a bit, and the engine should be much easier to start...
