If you're interested in some nice sub $110 mills then look at the SH Team Modified, Jammin .12 and the STS .12EX. I'm using the SH in my kids CRT.5 and the STS in mine.... they work great, have a nice power band and hold a tune very well. The STS has a little more lower end grunt over the SH, but the SH is easier to tune.

Well the strongest smallblock you will buy is a modded JLR .12...beleive it or not, but the modded JLR dynoes more tourque and more HP then any of the .18's avaialble....the modded JLR even outdynoes the OS 18TZ.........if your looking for big power the JLR is the motor you need................ though being ahighly strung .12 the JLR is very pipe picky, and really only works well on the Picco pipe, which wont fit the CRT .5........other pipes for the CRT .5 may work perfectly, but I dont know which one........

I run a STS D3R and the motor rips like crazy, and has run nearly flawlessly, the CRT .5 doesn't ned alot of power, my .12 will wheely as it is, any more power wont be useable anyways.....to me a 18 in a CRT .5 is really only for show purposes, as a good .12 will likely outacelerate and outspeed the 18 anyways

i put a ninja MR 12 t01a in mine, i have almost a half gallon thru it and i love it. still has so much pinch to it that i need to heat it up still with the heat gun. people say i am crazy because it has to much power. but i am getting a handle of it and each day at the track i am become much more smoother.

what do u guys think? is the ninja to much?

i run a O.S. 18 mod in my truggy .... the O.S 18 power and torque is great ....at first it take some getting use to but after doing alittle adjustments the truggy is unbelievable ....now i i hear the excuse i cant race with 1/10 scales and just last month they wont let race it in the 1/8 scale so all i do before my races on my spare time i rip the track up with .5

I have a few Fantoms. Believe it or not I was gonna drop a FR12 in my CRT.5. I loved how you broke those engines in. Start and set the needles then run. I'm happy with my NR in my truggy.
