Default xtm x-cellerator, worth it?

I have been running electric on and off-road for a while now and am thinking of trying my hand at nitro. I found a rtr deal on an xtm x-cellerator for $100. Is this worth snagging for tuning and driving practice? Thanks for any help...

apparently its like a souped up rustler. if you imagine a scale with a rustler at one end, firestorm in the middle and GT2 at the other end, its kind of between the rustler and firestorm. so yes, its good for what you want

No where near a Rusty. Its on the GT2 and AD2 level.

you think so? then so's the firestorm (since it's a rebadged GT2 really)

Once you replace the diff with a ball setup. I know a XC can drive just as good as any top level 1/10 truck. I'm sure the Firestorm can too, after you change the diff setup of course.

I fugure I will just hang out for a while and jump into 8th scale anyway...10th scale nitro is not big in Vegas right now.
