Default Werks Clutch

How is this clutch system to work on and maintain compared to a normal 3 shoe clutch? I have been wanting to change to this clutch but just cant really tell how it works from pictures and such.

Not sure what you are looking for, but I love this clutch. It requires no effort to put it on, take it off, gives plenty of power, and puts little wear on the shoes. I have been using the same shoes for 4 or 5 months and they show hardly any wear.

There are also a number of tweaks you can make, change the shoes out, mix the shoes (there are 4), change the spring, tighten/loosen the spring.

I have had some friends that have trouble with this clutch and I find it mind boggling, because there is nothing to it.

Ive been using the SPM/Werks/Blade type clutch for close on 2.5 years.
Awesome clutch with great performance .
Has great tunability and durability.
On a 5T id say go 2 black and 2 red shoes with the med or hard spring.
Take your time setting the tension on it as that is the only PT and make sure you use some good thread lock or score the thread so the adjusting nut doesnt turn to easy.
This is the one complaint you get about these clutches and the guys aregenerally impatient to set the engagement point.
On my buggy ive ive changed shoes about 3/4 times max.

Give it a try you wont be dissapointed.
