Thumbs up

Hi All, sorry I have not posted lately
regarding our Chassis we have had quite a few
of them going out all over. There have been some other
threads posting on racers satisfication, I will see
if I can get some link posted here. Our team
racers have been doing very good as well
I am getting a data base together for set ups
The main response has been increased steering and
consistency we have no bending or cracking
issues what so ever we are using Billet 7075
aircraft material. If you need any additional
info contact is staff at bcespeed. com
I will get more info posted soon.
Have a Happy 4th

adjusting the upper arms high, low, center accomplishes what??
camber gain..this adjustment is totaly dependant on the track surface/tire combo...it detirmines how much side bite your car will or will not have..among a few other things...in the middle is usally were mine stays

I have done everything else to get rid of some side bite( I am traction rolling if I go hard into a corner) would moving them up to the top hole help or will I have to go to the bottom ? thanks Joe

raction rolling is a B****, if your setup is working for you you should avoid geometry changes on the car, first try and look at your car when it traction rolls you can be getting too much traction from the front or the rear end, if the rear has too much grip add some camber this works up front as well but you loose some turn in so i don't recomend it. Tires with less side bite like I beams or bowties would be my first change then reduce droop if the track isn't too bumpy if you can't reduce droop go with thicker shock oil or a thicker front sway bar finaly if all the above fails just go up on the front diff 10 or even 15k.
good luck.

Just add some more negative camber.

Already went to the biggest ft. sway bar they make, Run I-Beams and BT's, and I am as low as I can go on droop (don't want t scuff the new BCE Chassis)and do you mean go to 10 or 15K or go up 10 more than what I got now? I think it's just the track, it's really fast and when you get to the one main turn I have the most trouble with it is rough and drops down off camber then turns uphill. I need to slow down and try and roll the turn instead of going balls to the wall at it! But the MBX6 makes me want to go faster everywhere!
Thanks for the ideals, I will add a little camber, I am only at about-1* or less on both ends and have a ton of steering so I can lose alittle and be fine!
Thanks again!!

If you only have -1 degrees of camber on the rear wheels I would think thats the traction rolling problem right there. I would only run that small amount of camber in a very slick condition. Go to -2 or -3 in the rear and the rolling will stop.

Limit your droop, that's the entire problem. After you take that down a little bit you will be able to go back to a thinner front sway bar and tune for more aggressive handling. Cars with too much droop will always traction roll.

Way too much droop. All it takes is one little bump and the car goes from ride height to extremely high (along with the cg) and over it goes. Bring it down to 100-106f and 125 rear, you'll be a happier man.

Don't worry about the chassis, it's gonna get scratched no matter what you do. If the car spends more time on it's wheels, fewer people will notice.

Edit: reducing your droop will also make for better handling everywhere else too.

105/125 for high bite. 107/127 norm.
i've tried more bar but when you go in the corner, the car will snap roll even harder. 2/3 deg of camber is norm but on the high bite go 4/5.
.9 clutch springs and for high traction use 1.0's.
if its just norm traction and your catching ruts, try a diff tire and or cut the outer row pins at 45 degs.

When I ran less droop it seemed to me coming from a Jammin X1-CR Pro that the car was way to twitchy. I was running Jason Ashton's (sp) bumpy track set up. I might be more use to the car now I will go back to it or something closer, I done all I could to calm it down. And I was just kidding about don't wanting to hurt the BCE I think scuffs is war wounds and I like to battle!
Thanks guys, I am on vacation this week and messing around with a new BL system in a new(2me) Lazer but will try a new set-up more like you all suggested on the 18th.
THANKS
