Guys ,

Im southamerican (Chile, right now since last June working and living with my Family in Colombia).

Usually in southamerican countries when we speak of BIG RC EVENTS we dont get more than 50 drivers, so thats why usually the "only chance" to invite high level drivers from other countries its the "nationals". I would love to have in a nats on my country a Drake, Bradley, Saxton, etc racing with me (experience, knowledge, etc), but obviusly if the event is a national and its on the year prior to the world well, if non-local driver wins, in my opinion he cant use a local spot to go to the worlds just because on the born country he didnt had the chance to get a spot.

I know for sure that at least in southamerica when a country invites a top level non-local driver to race on a national event, they dont even think about the chance of "well if this guy wins, he takes one of our spots at next worlds", usually our head its on the chance of share experience, culture and fun of race with a top class driver.

Well, my $ 1 "colombian peso"

cya,
