I've owned a Mugen, Losi and now a Kyosho. I got the Kyosho because the parts quality is excellent, the car can handle smooth and rough tracks very well, the stories I've heard about their durability sound good, and their customer service is excellent.

I hope the Kyosho is durable. After all, it wieghs more than an RC8 and a Losi put together.

The light weight of the RC8 or Losi is a good thing when you have to walk out to the track and carry it back to the pits because it's broken.

My vote is for the TeamVTX VTX-B1! It allows me to afford this hobby!

The buggy handles great and it has tons of setup options to make it work on any track. With the optional billet parts, it holds up really good too! And I am not just saying this because the sponsor it, but because I chose to race this car!

This is actually true for the RC8 .

I had a hard time adjusting to the Losi 8 buggy after running a Turmoil. I didn't get any faster for almost a year. The Turmoil is a good buggy IMO.

All I can say is that a better car might have allowed you to finish that main rather than break out of it. I noticed your a good driver, but I think that car is holding you back. I like my Losi, but I think I might get something new for next year just to see if It's holding me back. I'm still keeping my Losi, I need a head to head comparison.

I know a pair of guys at our track who had Hyper 7's last year and they struggled constantly. this year they both have Losi's, and have been kicking a$$. I got a Losi as well, and it's been hard keeping up with them. The Hyper 7 seemed more like a ball and chain rather than a high performance 1/8th buggy.
