Cool

I guess I can't let my 6 year old son read these threads anymore! Thanks!
BTW, savage.25 Roto starters are junk and you can take that garbage and sit on it
Speaking from experience of course! The junk part not the sitting on it part
To be honest the Losi spin starter coupled with my Tiger drive worked better, but is still a hassle! I would keep a pull starter before getting a Roto start if I did it all over again! But knowing what I know now, STARTER BOX all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

when my pull start died i took the pull starter off and just had the exposed crankshaft sticking out of the backplate. i then put the one way bearing in a drill and now i start the engine like that. the only problem is that i dont want to fix the bearing in the socket permanantly, and i have to replace the tape every now and again. but other than that, its hassle free and easier than a rotostart.

yeah im sure your 6 yr old knows how to navigate these forums
..., and like hes never heard that word... or even said it himself sometimes?? grow up a little bit

im getting a starter box, and im also keeping the pullstarter on the engine just in case.

and thats the closest LHS is 1 hour away... next one is 3 hrs away... next one is like 6 hours away

im going to be getting the dsx 3.0 servos, remote, transmitter, receiver.
the LRP .28 zspec engine or something like that.
not sure which starter box, kinda going for a cheap one.

i should be getting all this by the 1st.

Why would my son not be able to navigate this forum? He can read pretty well and Im supposed to tell him what when he asks what that word means. He certainly doesn't walk around saying words like that either, we must raise our children in different ways assuming you have children? Anyway good luck with your starting situation! I wouldn't go cheap on a box though!
