I weighed a few of the rims I had laying around and the dish were all lighter. There may be some more different types of spokes that are lighter but the weight difference is very minimal. Although any time you can reduce rotating mass you are helping your cause.

HUH? I don't know where the brakes are on YOUR Mugen, but on mine they're on the center differential outdrives... like every other 1/8 scale buggy I've ever seen.

I like spokes so you can see my brakes glow red when I'm coming down the main stretch

I like spoke's so I can see when I've locked a wheel before a turn.

I believe that you can make a case for dirt or mud plugging up each kind of wheel... The biggest advantage is the pivot ball adjustability.

I want to see the buggy kits with the 4 wheel discs that glow

Yeah...Nite Wheels for running in low light conditions. LOL. That would be awesome. Isn't there some type of dye or paint that can be applied that glows in the dark? I can't remember. Like something from a store or something?

House of Kolor makes some awesome glow-in-the-dark additive powder that you can mix with paint. Aside from being on the pricy side, I don't know how well that paint would hold up to constant flexing, impacts & harsh conditions.

you could mix the glow in the dark powder with dye and leave the rims in hot water for a few hours. should impregnate the powder. or, to race in the dark make a light kit. i di, and my freind made one so bright you could see with it!
