same here, I have to drive 2hrs just to practice, it makes it tough to get track time like I want to.

I think some good things for a track is regular changes. Maybe not a complete teardown of the track, but some changes every couple weeks and then a pipe/layout change every other moth. Also, racing on Sundays or in the middle of the week. Pretty much every track races on Saturdays only and so if you race on Sundays, you may be able to get more people out there.

Good clean, low dust dirt. Drivers stand that faces east so the only time the sun is in your eyes is in the early morning. Sunday race program is good, too.

Would you like to see supercross style starts with a gate? How about a weekly best of paint contest? A monthly pro-am race? Or maybe classes where representatives will come out from different manufacturers and give seminars on how to make your stuff better? Give me some ideas

The supercross starts are cool. Some will complain cause they're hacks, but i have seen that kind of racing and it's cool. Also, a consistent surface is helpful. Weither it be dry or wet, consistency is a good idea. And the races you are talking about are cool. You should definitely try to host one of the Babcock series races. Where exactly are you looking to put the track and how big?

I like the supercross starts myself. I like the more technical tracks with rythem sections and less of the huge big air jumps (although sweet to jump). Elevation changes are a must. Thunder Alley is one of the best tracks known for elevation changes. Very technical but heck it's way out there in Beaumont.

rythm sections. jumps with options, you know, like a three sets of doubles that could be a triple-triple for a more skilled driver. jumps that make you carry some corner speed, like a big jump right out of a corner.good lips on the jumps, nobody likes to have to wring it out just to keep the nose up. need a good whoop section too. as a matter of fact, just make a scale version of the Anahiem 1 SX track. That would be unreal. It would also be nice to have shade cloth over the drivers stand, speakers in pit lane and fans in pit lane to blow all the smoke out.

as for the racing part, sundays would be cool. a good race director is a must. set clear rules and inforce them for everyone. those who dont marshall after thier race GO HOME for the day, hack someone out, stop an go penalty, no exceptions. make people bump up, win 5 times, MANDITORY you move up to the next class. charge people a $10 rental fee for house transponders, this will encourage everyone to buy a personal transponder. it takes too long for all the house transponders to get checked in.
