Rocks, I hate big rocks! I also hate straight back and forth type tracks. Needs some off camber turns and jumps. Parking, OMG if you get to Rev too late you'll never be able to park. What a nightmare.

The bad----Poor PA systems, ultra dusty tracks, tracks that turn into mud slicks when watered

1. Good lighting if your gonna run at night.

2. bathrooms (not port a potties) with good venting so it doesn't smell like butt and burritos.

3. a spectator grandstand (something like little league field stands)

4. hobby shop would be nice

5. motocross style start would be nice with drop gate to prevent false starts

6. a fair race director that will enforce stop and go's for hacking and dock laps for not marshalling.

1 and 6 I think are really needed, the rest is probably icing on the cake if you have enough funds.

as for bad PA systems, get a low range fm system so people can bring their portable radios and tune in to listen to the announcements etc....Kinda like what the drive in movie theaters use.

Everywhere I go the director says they will do this, yet nobody ever enforces it! In seven years of racing I've never actually seen anybody dock laps for not marshalling and only saw a stop and go enforced once at a Pro Series race for rough driving. It makes being at the track less enjoyable and slows the program down. Race directors, ENFORCE YOUR RULES!

It's been asked before. Where exactly are you looking to build this track?

All those are good suggestions i'm in AZ and race at the Nitro PIt and that track by far is the best with the dirt, driver stand, lights and pa they got a computer monitor in pit lane so your pit guy can see were your at on the track times and also I race in Boulder NV. at the Silverstate track they just redid their track and we will race on it for the first time on the 20th last time they put carpet down coming out of corners so you whould'nt spin so much to jump the big double they had. That was different I never raced with carpet in the corners before good luck and if im ever in Riverside I will come and check you out Thankx
