That's nice but where will you be able to race that class, outlaw 1/10 scale 4wd.

ok i own a tr-15 buggy the first version. and i hope kyosho does a better job with this buggy. the tr-15 had week axels the hex design was teribble and the tank was vulnerable to being crack by suspension links, but kyosho are smart so maybe theyll up date.
imo wont be as fast as 1/8th as u cant use the power of a .18 as ur under gripped and they dont have enough weight to create the same weight transfer which would help grip so imo 1/8th is a better investment

IMO this is a better car then the crt.5 because it is a bigger car that can handle everything better then the crt.5 and the wheels look just like gas truck wheels but this is just my opinion

Awesome can you say Brushless - Lipo. It looks much stronger than your average built 4wd 10th scale.

Yeah... at first I thought "why convert it.. you can buy any 1/10 4wd electric"... BUT this would be a cool ride. It looks very beefy, and it's different, with the truck tires and 1/8 style wing.

I think it would be a really cool brushless/lipo basher, if it can handle an extreme setup.

anyone get one of these yet? seems pretty cheap. I think the crt .5 looks like a better quality product.

The CRT .5 is a POS 1/10 gas buggy that they call a 1/12-scale truck because it has a truck body. Fun? Sure, but very much a novelty. the new Kyosho truck and buggy look like they will be fun as well. They're not intended as racing machines but I'm sure some will end up in club events where they're not so uptight about who can run and who can't. They're larger so they won't get spun out or lost in potholes created by a 1/8 truggy like the .5 CRT. Who knows... it might end up being a fun buggy/truck.
