Exclamation HELP! Savage 4.6 Electrics? +Rotostarts?

Electrics

i got a savage 4.6 a while ago and it was fine but within the last few days its developed a few problems. It will go around for about 5 mins and then the electrics will just fail and the can will just idle. When very close to the car the servos shudder. After checking the electrics i restart and it goes into full revs straight away and electrics fail immediately.

Any ideas what could be happening. Ive only had it since last Monday.

Info:
No modifications
Some tuning (still rich)

The only thing i can think it being is that the cables have been damaged when it put the electric cover on as some were trapped very tightly between the tray and cover.

Rotostart 1

Ok it came with a rotostart 2 but i used the rotostart 1 because its easier to use. As soon as the engine locked the gears went in it. What should i do? Take it apart? buy a new one? or where can i get replacement gears?

ty to anyone who can help!

i fixed it now. The crystal had just fallen out and was bouncing around inside the casing. And the rotostart i will take apart later!
