Before you buy either one. Just check this out.....
If your not impressed, carry on with the dylema you have.

(Before you ask: Yes. ALL parts are available and in your LHS !!)

It's gone from being one of the easiest cars to break, with no parts support to the toughest Buggy on the market with full parts support!!
The easiest Buggy to work also !

Check it out, if your not impressed go and buy the Mugan. Thats what I'd go for between the two !

I will tell you that I have heard a bunch of rumors of Mugen coming out with a new buggy in the new 4 or 5 months. So you might want to wait for that or look into something different. I know it would suck to buy a new kit, just to be outdated in a few months. Just my.02

Default WHICH BUGGY??

ANY OF THE MAJOR BRANDS OF BUGGIES ARE GOOD CHOICES. IVE PUT MY DOLLAR ON XRAY XB8EC FOR TWO REASONS.
1. BEST QUALITY PARTS AND FINISH,, GOOD FOR LONG MAINS AND LONG SEASONS
2. LOTS OF TUNING WITHOUT CHANGING PARTS

TO EACH THEIR OWN,, I DO HAVE TO SAY THE LOSI 8IGHT SEEMS TO HAVE
THE BEST TRACK CHARACTER WHERE I RACE,,, BUT WERE LOOKING FORWARD
TO TRYING TO CHANGE THAT..

+1 to what wheelnut said, Xray is the best car hands down.

There will probably be a new Mugen buggy in about a year. I really doubt you will see it in 4-5 months since it is supposedly not even designed yet.
