Does anyone know much about them? I just got one for $75(roller) was that a good deal? I know they have been out for a while now are they still good for racing?

Yeah thats not a bad price to pay for a roller.
I have a Hyper 7 and a Hyper 8 Pro.
The Hyper 7 now has a LRP .21 spec 2 in it.
Has Hyper ST Truggy shockers on it with custom shock towers and lots of other good bits like CnC hubs, CV drive shafts etc etc.
It goes very hard but in my honest opinion My hyper 8 pro craps on it in nearly every way.
Mind you i have it setup for doing HUGE jump and not to race but i can tell you it would never keep up with my Hyper 8 Pro.
They would be alright for racing but the suspension geometry is old hack now and is realy falling behind the ball park with the newer cars out.
Dont let what ive said turn you off racing but it would be a struggle but if your in it for the fun factor then do it.

Heres a picture of my two cars and the Hyper 7 filthy after a good bash session. Ive actualy got it up for sale atm, its not listed on the forums cause im gonna probably sell it to a mate that races his Hyper 7 and buy a Monster truck and race that instead. Im asking around $450 (AUS) for mine and ive spent well over $1000 on it but it does have a brand new motor in it as well. Has say 3 litres thru it.
So for $75 you probably did well.
