Well my 1st instinct would be to just say the Jammin.
The Jammin team has been winning a lot of races.
But that hellfire is one sweet looking truck.
I will say this, I would narrow down between the Hellfire and the Jammin.
And bashing or even racing for that matter you just cant beat the rotor start over pull start.
The hell fire looks awesome. But the pull start sucks.
The SS hellfire may be under the X-mas tree for my son this year.

I went for the Jammin for my first. I do both (race and bash), and the car holds up great. There are a few parts you'll have to change, but all are cheep at A-Main. Toss the radio away, don't even buy batteries for it.

I love my CRT. Even the RTR isn't too bad. Like the other posts said, a few things that need to be fixed but are very cheap. The Hyper ST is also an awesome truggy. Stay away from the Hellcrap. It's IMHO not the best value for the buck.

so its a no go for the hell fire.

im deciding between the 2 ofna r/cs i kindda like the Hyper ST better than the X1 CRT, maybe ill take a good look at the CRt when i return to my LHS
the HB Lightning to is cheap at 2/3s the price, and its sort of a R/C for beginers.

i know it might be too much to ask but.
what makes the ofna truggies better than the HB? besides winning races.
like build wise,

i like the hyper ST the most, but what turns me off from it is the Plastic Shock Towers and a bit on the price. is it really tough and it can take a beating? i love jumps. so i'll probrably be doing lots of that.

Thanks guys! it help alot.

The 8ight t is a great truggy for racing, my brother has that truck. But when we just go out to the local BMX track, his car just doesn't hold up.

Go to the OFNA forums and look for yourself. The Hyper ST isn't breaking - especially the plastic parts of the shocktowers. If anything, the plastic seems to reinforce it somehow. I thought the same thing when I first saw the ST with those, but so far, I've not heard of any of them breaking or being viewed as weak.

The Hyper ST offers the most bang for your buck. It is highly competitive as well. Heck it was winning big races with just the RTR version (It was the only version available to racers for a while).

Default OCM Truggy

Why not look at the OCM Truggy. Its going to be easy on the pocket book and a great quality race truggy at a great price. Dont forget about OCM
